As expected, everything leading up to Paris Hilton's wedding was nothing short of luxury and glam. From the dreamy proposal on an island, the gigantic rock (engagement ring) on her finger, to the R880 000 wedding gift registry.

The 40-year-old finally got married to businessman Carter Reum in Bel Air Estate. Fans can anticipate a 13-part docuseries of her nuptials, Paris in Love.

Paris had several dress changes on her wedding weekend. The craftmanship on the gowns designed by acclaimed designer Oscar de la Renta has us gushing.

She walked down the aisle in an ODLR bridal thread work pressed flower ballgown and veil. It was crafted and hand-embroidered by eight modistes and took over 1400 hours to put together.

One of the gowns she wore was a custom crystal star-embroidered gown. The celestial motif was composed by hand with over 3 000 hours of hand embroidery using the Aari technique. She wore it on the last day of her wedding weekend.
